Progressive groups rallied in support of the President's plan to force adoption of the metric system. Hundreds marched with signs chanting "Keep your feet off my body" and "No more cheaters, time for meters"
"History will credit President Obama for dollar-a-liter gas, instead of three-fifty per gallon under Bush"
Mr. Obama reminded lawmakers that China has just four percent unemployment and "they're on the metric system. You should pass this now."
